Whether you sit beside someone during chemotherapy, help us prepare nourishing juices and care packages, your presence matters more than you know.
Below are the different ways you can get involved:
Become a Mama Jaja’s Angel
Many patients go through chemotherapy alone.
By becoming an angel, you’ll be trained to offer companionship, light conversation, and hope during treatment sessions or recovery.
No medical experience is needed, just a kind heart and a steady spirit.
Angels may:
Sit with patients during chemotherapy or infusion sessions.
Offer gentle encouragement, reading, or conversation.
Play board games, knit, color, do nails, build Legos, collect their stories, do face masks, pray, the list goes on.
Deliver fresh juices, snacks, or small comfort packages.
Connect virtually with patients who prefer online visits or calls.
Share Nourishment and Care
If being in hospitals isn’t for you, you can still make an enormous impact. There are still many ways to pour love into this mission. You can join our Juice & Wellness Team, helping us prepare and deliver fresh, nutrient-rich juices and easy-to-digest recipes for patients who struggle to eat after treatment.
Another option could be that throughout the year, Mama Jaja’s Angels hosts various community events where we come together, such as assembling care packages and lunch sacks for the houseless, simple acts of kindness that remind every person they are seen, valued, and loved.
Ways to help:
Chop, juice, and package wellness recipes.
Join us for community care days to assemble lunch sacks and care packages for those in need.
Donate fresh produce, snacks, or hygiene essentials for our outreach events.
Include handwritten notes of encouragement in every package.
Support Through Giving
